Charger & Inverter Settings
General settings that apply to most equipment. For Victron BlueSmart Chargers, please refer to the BlueSmart product listing page for exact parameters.
Multiply voltages by 2 for 24v systems and by 4 for 48v systems.
Charge Current (Per battery): 40a Preferred (50a Maximum)
Absorption Voltage: 14.6v preferred (14.4 Minimum)
Float Voltage: 13.8v preferred (13.6 Minimum)
Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD): 11v
MUST BE DISABLED. SET DURATION TO 0 MINUTES.
If you can, we recommend setting the equalization voltage to 14.6v. With this set at 14.6, if an equalization is somehow triggered, you will not damage your battery.

Can you ship to Hawaii & Alaska?
We have currently suspended complete shipping to Hawaii & Alaska. You may arrange your own HAZMAT shipping from our warehouse, FOB Origin. Contact us if you would like to do this.
Does this battery have Low-Temperature protection?
Yes! The battery will prevent charging below 0°C in order to protect the cells while continuing to allow discharging. If you need to charge the battery in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend adding a heating pad that can be turned on to warm up the battery prior to charging.
What temperatures do the batteries need to be brought out of the cold?
The lowest safe storage temperature is -22°F, so any temperatures below this, you should bring them inside or add a heating pad of some sort, but keep in mind if a heating pad runs out of power and the battery falls below -22°F, damage may occur.
Does this fit into a standard “group size” battery box?
No, these batteries are just a bit too big to fit into your standard battery boxes. Many of our customers have had great luck installing into tool boxes or similar enclosures that provide protection from the elements. The metal-cased batteries are not waterproof. The Plastic 206ah battery can be installed in wet environments such as the tongue of trailers, in which case they fit great with the factory battery boxes removed.
Can I use my old Lead-Acid Charger?
This is not a simple “yes” or “no” question. If your charger has an equalize feature that exceeds 14.6v, then it absolutely cannot be used. The maximum charge current of a SOK Battery is 50 amps, so your total combined charge current may not exceed 50a * [number of parallel batteries]. You must also check the output voltages of the charger throughout a full charge cycle; if they exceed 14.6v they cannot be used. It is optimal to have an absorption voltage of 14.4v and a float voltage of 13.6. The battery isn’t totally picky regarding the float voltage, but we recommend 13.6 for optimal lifepsan. If you are limited on parameters, it is best to be on the lower-voltage side – you may sacrifice a bit of capacity, but longevity will increase significantly. Additionally, if your batteries get to a very low SOC, then they can draw more power from your charger than it is designed for leading to nuisance blown fuses & circuit breakers.
Can the battery be installed on its side?
Absolutely! With no acid or venting, this battery can be installed in any configuration except for upside-down (terminals facing down).
Who makes the SOK BMS?
The BMS is custom made by SOK battery, designed by SOK’s in-house engineers and manufactured to their strict quality control standards.
Do you offer free shipping?
We are a small mom & pop business, there are 3 of us here running this operation.
We put out a lot of money to SOK battery to buy the product, then wait a long time for transport by sea. Shipping to you has a cost, of which we cover more than ½ of anything more would make it unrealistic to carry the product at all.
Some bigger corporations offer free shipping, but they can afford to spend their profits on shipping, but that is not the case for us.
The difference is, we are nimble enough to provide excellent customer support, extended warranty (beyond what SOK offers) and, we have a phone number [(725) 258-2700], you can ring us and talk to a real person that speaks English. We ensure you are taken care of regardless of the circumstance.
What is the warranty policy, and how do I get any problems with the product fixed?
These batteries have a 7 year manufacturer warranty with an additional 3 years provided by Current Connected for a total of 10 years. If you ever have any issues with the product, please call us. Our team is on standby ready to help you. Our business relies on happy customers with working solutions, so if the battery is not working for you it is our job to provide the necessary after-sales support to turn a product into a solution. We have the faith and have done the testing to know these batteries will last a long time, and we are here for you through the entire duration of ownership.
Do I need to register for the extended warranty?
No, we track all orders as they are placed through our website database (which is regularly backed up). If you have any issues we will look up your order. If you wish to make it easier for us, have your order number handy. If not, we can certainly look your order up by name.
Can I get my battery shipped to me faster?
All lithium batteries (LiFePO4 included) must be shipped via Freight or Ground shipping. Typical delivery time in the US for in stock batteries is 5-7 business days. Lithium batteries cannot be shipped overnight, or express due to federal shipping restrictions. The USPS does not allow for batteries to be shipped to Post Office boxes (PO Box). For your shipping address, please use a street address serviceable by FedEx or UPS.

Thank you Current Connected for the speedy delivery of my 206ah less than a week to my door!! Per my husband, Larry:
After doing my research on Lifepo4 batteries for our rv, I decided I liked the SOK battery for numerous reasons, like it is modular. After calling Current Connected and talking with Dexter at length, I decided to purchase the 206ah SOK battery. Everything they say on Current Connected’s website, I found to be absolutely true: they are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about their products and when they say they are going to ship it and it will be at your door in a few days, that is exactly what happens. During the conversion in our Bigfoot RV from Lead acid battery to the SOK LiFePo4, every question that I had, Dexter was patient and gave me all the info that I needed to complete this conversion. Big Thumbs Up for Current Connected and their staff.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for Current Connected’s outstanding customer services. I ordered a SOK 206ah battery directly from SOK. The website indicated it was in stock. After 4 days I had not seen any activity on the tracking app and reached out to SOK to check on the status on the order. The owner Min replied back and informed that the battery was actually not in stock and that they had a container ship stuck in the Long Beach harbor and that it would be approx. 7 days before the shipment was in hand, then a 5-7 business day shipping to me. I was really needing to get it sooner, rather than later. I contacted Current Connected and spoke with Dexter and discussed my situation with him and checked to see if he could confirm that they had the 206 batteries in stock. He confirmed he did. I was originally thinking about asking for a refund from SOK, and ordering from Current Connected and actually ordering one more to have 2x since I had made the decision to go-for-it on the 24v system, instead of the 12v system I was initially planning for. Dexter offered to contact Min with SOK and see if he could just ship the battery from his stockpile on behalf of the SOK order, with the additional battery I would purchase from Current Connected. Dexter was able to work it out with SOK, and I had both batteries within 5 business days.
Thank you Dexter for the assist, I really appreciate the excellent customer service with you guys.
I am really looking forward to getting my new system up. I am setting up a 24V 2x SOK 206ah battery system, with a Victron MultiPlus 24v/3000/70, Smart Solar 100/50, Orion 24/12-Volt 30 amp dc-dc converter, BMV-712 as the system core going into a small Toy Hauler style cargo trailer with 460 watts of solar to start with.
If you are looking for the white glove customer service experience, look no further!
Thanks again Dexter,

I ordered my 2 SOK Lithium 206AH batteries from Current Connections due to the great reviews. The website information was very helpful. Ordering was easy and even though it was December, my batteries arrived on time as promised. I made several calls to Dexter for guidance and to ask questions. He patiently answered all of my questions and had all the knowledge I needed to set the parameters for my Magnum inverter charger. My installation went great and after a week, they seem to be performing perfectly. I would highly recommend this company and the batteries. Thank you, Dexter, for the excellent customer service.

I have ordered both an SOK Battery (206AH) and a Multiplus II. Both times shipping was ridiculously fast! Sucker had a label on it and tracking mailed to me within 2 hours! Cannot stress enough the value added to an SOK or Victron purchase from these folks.

All the guys at Current Connected have been superb to work with. Support has been top notch, and they seem to always go above and beyond to help me with my orders and questions. They’ve always been quick to ship as well! Their batteries have been working awesome in my off grid setup and have handled everything I’ve thrown at them.

I bought a pair of SOK 206ah batteries last fall, I was hooking them up to my off grid system on a Saturday and was having trouble with my solar charge controller settings. I called Current Connected for some help and Dexter answered, he let me know they were closed but he was doing some cleanup work around the shop, I asked for some help and he gladly walked me through every setting to get me up and running! That is company dedication at it’s finest. Dexter is a great asset to this company, I will only buy my system components from Current Connected from now on, thank you Dexter!

We ordered 2 of the 206ah and now we are trying to order a 3rd one!
These SOK batteries are well made and just what I was looking for to power my system.
FedEx delivered the boxes on time and in very good condition.
I hope to order two more of these. These SOK Battery 206Ah 12V LiFePO4 Batteries are the best value, still today and should prove to be a cost effective purchase if they remain efficient for their projected life span.
Kudos to Will Prowse for reviewing the SOL batteries and https://currentconnected.com for shipping them out so fast.

Excellent battery and fast shipping. Using the battery in my RV. Can go an entire weekend on the 206amp hr battery no problem. Even run the coffee maker and microwave on a power inverter and still have plenty of juice left. Paired this with a Victron lithium charger and its been trouble free. Had it 6 months and 5 camping trips and its amazing, never going back to FLA.
